First held in Barcelona in 2002, the World Congress of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (WCRAPM) has since traveled to all five continents, hosting events in some of the world's most vibrant and iconic cities, including Rio de Janeiro, Cape Town, New York, and, most recently, Paris. Over the years, the congress has established itself as a truly global forum, reflecting the diversity, innovation, and excellence of the international regional anesthesia and pain medicine community.

 

Every four years, this prestigious meeting brings together the five continental sister societies— AFSRA, AOSRA, ASRA, ESRA, and LASRA —creating a unique platform for scientific exchange and international collaboration. The WCRAPM is renowned for offering cutting-edge scientific content, high-level educational sessions, interactive hands-on workshops, and exceptional professional networking opportunities among leaders and specialists from around the world.

 

In 2027, the WCRAPM proudly returns to Latin America. This year, LASRA is honored to host the congress and is committed to offering an outstanding academic program while fostering meaningful connections between faculty and attendees.
