WCRAPM 2027 Abstract Submission

1.     Submission Phases

Please note the two separate submission periods:

2.    Early Bird Fee Guarantee

Since acceptance notifications for the Regular Phase come after the Early Bird deadline, we will honor  the Early Bird registration fee for the presenting author, provided the submission was entered during the Regular Phase.

Important: this benefit is specifically available for the author(s) traveling to present the work (defined in the abstract submission form), regardless of who submitted it online first.

3.    Rules for Submission

  • All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with proper grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. If needed, please have your abstract reviewed by a colleague who is a native English speaker, a university scientific publications office, or a copy editor before submitting.

  • The presenting author should ensure that all co-authors are aware of the abstract's content before submission.

  • Submitting an abstract indicates your acceptance of its publication on the Congress website and in the Congress journal supplement.

  • Only the abstracts submitted by registered authors will be included in the final program.

  • Each person may submit up to 3 abstracts. The maximum number of abstracts for which one person can serve as the presenting author is 3.

  • The Scientific Committee (SC) will assign the top-scoring abstracts to poster presentation sessions based on evaluation scores. Abstracts will be reviewed and allocated to appropriate sessions according to their type and topic. The remaining abstracts will be displayed on screens during the break sessions.

  • All submitted abstracts must include original data. Abstracts that say “data will be discussed in the presentation” will NOT be accepted.

  • If an abstract was previously submitted to a different Congress but was not accepted, it can be submitted to this Congress as well. If it was previously presented, it cannot be submitted to WCRAPM 2027.

  • The evaluation of the abstracts will be performed by the WCRAPM SC. Once received, the abstract will undergo blinded peer review by at least two reviewers.

  • If there are major differences in the reviews, a special team of other members not involved in the original assessment will review the evaluations and resolve the discrepancies.

  • The initial evaluation of abstracts will be using a specific rubric (70% of the final score) which considers: relevance and originality; scientific aspects (such as the explanation of hypotheses/research questions, design, analysis, and presentation of results, discussion, etc.); and formal aspects (such as manuscript structure and clarity of writing).

  • All accepted abstracts will be displayed on poster format during the event. Among these, the most outstanding abstracts will be selected for poster oral presentation and receive on-site evaluation (30% of the final score), which considers presentation and defense performance. The winners will be selected from these.

  • The evaluation rubric is accessible for those interested here:

  • If any work does not fit into the categories mentioned earlier, the SC will assess and rate the work based on the criteria it sets.
