WCRAPM 2027 Abstract Submission
Standards and Guidelines

Rules for Submission

• All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with proper grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. If needed, please have your abstract reviewed by a colleague who is a native English speaker, a university scientific publications office, or a copy editor before submitting.

• The presenting author should ensure that all co-authors are aware of the abstract's content before submission.

• Submitting an abstract indicates your acceptance of its publication on the Congress website and in the Congress journal supplement.

• Only the abstracts submitted by registered presenting authors will be included in the final program.

• Each person may submit up to 3 abstracts. The maximum number of abstracts for which one person can serve as the presenting author is 3.

• The Scientific Committee (SC) will assign the top-scoring abstracts to poster presentation sessions based on evaluation scores. Abstracts will be reviewed and allocated to appropriate sessions according to their type and topic. The remaining abstracts will be displayed on screens during the break sessions.

• All submitted abstracts must include original data. Abstracts that say “data will be discussed in the presentation” will NOT be accepted.

• If an abstract was previously submitted to a different Congress but was not presented, it can be submitted to this Congress as well. If it was previously presented, it cannot be submitted to WCRAPM 2027.

Evaluation

The evaluation of the abstracts will be performed by the WCRAPM SC. Depending on the type of work presented, the SC will carry out an appropriate review.

1. The abstracts will be evaluated using a specific rubric for both the abstract and the presentation, which considers: relevance and originality; scientific aspects (such as the explanation of hypotheses/research questions, design, analysis, and presentation of results, discussion, etc.); and formal aspects (such as manuscript structure and clarity of writing).

2.Case reports, literature reviews, or historical research will be assessed based on:

       1. Relevance and originality

2.Review of the presented topic (depth, discussion)

       3.Formal Aspects

3.If any work does not fit into the categories mentioned earlier, the SC will assess and rate the work based on the criteria it sets.

The evaluation rubric will be accessible for those interested.

Each abstract will be reviewed by at least two evaluators using the specified rubric. If there are major differences in the reviews, a special team of other members not involved in the original assessment will review the evaluations, gather information from the evaluators, and resolve the discrepancies.

The best abstracts will be selected for oral presentation and assessed using the same criteria; the quality of the presentation will also be evaluated on the day of the event.

The winners will be selected from these.
