WCRAPM 2027 Educational Videos
Rules & Guidelines
Educational videos are among the most effective tools for training in regional anesthesia and pain medicine techniques. Videos are widely used both for self-improvement and as CME resources.
Competition rules
- The videos must have been produced within the twelve months preceding the 7th WCRAPM.
- Videos should be no longer than 10 minutes, ideally around 6 minutes (maximum 500 MB)
- Videos can cover any topic related to regional anesthesia and pain medicine. Topics might include techniques, safety, and patient information management.
Selection process
- Submitted videos will be reviewed and judged by a Jury chosen by the Scientific Committee.
- Videos will be scored from 0 to 5 based on the following criteria:
1. Content (know-how, skills, techniques illustrated)
2. Storyboard (how the content is organized)
3. Teaching Quality (How the Message Is Delivered)
4. Video quality (image and sound)
- A maximum of 20 points can be awarded for a video.
- Six finalists will be chosen by the jury before the congress and notified by the Scientific Committee.
- Authors of the six selected videos are expected to attend and present their video abstracts during a dedicated session at the 7th WCRAPM.
- The jury and all attendees will vote for the top three videos from the six finalists.
- All attendees may cast 1 vote. The average will determine the final ranking.
